How to Unlock To the Limb It in Borderlands 4
Finish Gone Are My Leggies First
To start the "To the Limb It" side mission, you must first complete the previous mission "Gone Are My Leggies". This mission is available in The Fadefields region after reaching level 15.
Prerequisites:
- Complete "Gone Are My Leggies" side mission
- Reach character level 15
- Access to The Fadefields region
Borderlands 4 - To the Limb It Side Mission Location
After finishing the "Gone Are My Leggies" mission, travel to the north of Dissected Plateau in The Fadefields region. Look for Topper's Leggies on the side of the road leading to a farm.

Pro Tip
Make sure to stock up on ammunition and health kits before starting this mission, as you'll encounter several groups of enemies along the path.

Follow the Leggies to Topper
Interact with Topper's Leggies
Approach and interact with Topper's Leggies to begin the mission. The legs will start moving and you'll need to follow them.
Enemy Encounter:
After interacting with the legs, a group of Skags will appear. Defeat them before continuing to follow the legs.
Follow the Leggies to Topper
The legs will lead you to a barn where Topper can be seen through a window. Stay close but be cautious of enemy ambushes along the path.
Path Details:
The path winds through a rocky canyon with several enemy spawn points. Use cover and take out enemies from a distance when possible.
Open the Barn
Once you reach the barn, navigate to the other side to find the door control. Press the button to open the barn door and free Topper.
Strategy:
Before opening the barn, take a elevated position to scope out the area. There may be additional enemies lurking nearby.
Defend Against the Beast Attack
Upon opening the barn door, you'll be attacked by a group of beasts. Eliminate all enemies to allow Topper to reattach his legs.
Combat Tips:
The beasts are fast and attack in numbers. Use area-of-effect weapons and grenades to manage groups. Watch for a larger "Badass" variant that has more health and deals more damage.
Mission Completion
After defeating all the beasts, Topper will reattach his legs and thank you. This completes the "To the Limb It" side mission and rewards will be granted.

Pro tip: There's a hidden chest on top of the barn! Use the nearby rocks to jump up there after completing the mission.

If you're having trouble with the beast swarm, try using corrosive weapons. They seem to do extra damage against these enemies.
