Given During The Kairos Job
Scoundrel Roundup: Glitch is one of the two side missions given during The Kairos Job main story mission. To unlock it, you need to progress through the main campaign until you reach this point.
Borderlands 4 Shim Location
Talk to Shim at The Launchpad, located southeast of The Howl area on the planet Promethea.
Mission Start Point
After accepting the mission from Shim, you'll need to travel to Rootdown Estates to find and recruit Glitch.
Prerequisite Note:
You must have completed the "A Lot to Process" mission before you can access this side quest, as it takes place in Zadra's former home.

Recruit Glitch
Locate Glitch at Rootdown Estates
After accepting the mission from Shim, head northeast to the Rootdown Estates. This is Zadra's home during the "A Lot to Process" mission.
Talk to Glitch to begin the next phase of the mission. He'll explain that you need to disable the security system inside the house.
Disable the First Two Power Relays
Glitch will ask you to enter the house and turn off three power relays while avoiding red lasers. If you touch any lasers, you'll be reset and must return to Glitch to try again.
First Power Relay
The first power relay is located in the living room, behind the couch.
Crouch below the lasers next to the couch and flip the switch on the right side.
Second Power Relay
The second power relay is in the kitchen area.
Crouch below the first laser, then jump above the second laser to reach the switch.
Pro Tip:
Use the "Slam" ability to quickly drop down after jumping over lasers. This can help you avoid accidental contact with security beams.
Locate and Disable the Third Power Relay
Continue past the second power relay, and you'll find the third power relay on the wall left of the stairs.
This section features X-shaped lasers that require precise timing to navigate. Wait for the pattern to open up and quickly move through to reach the switch.

If you're playing as a character with teleportation or phasewalk abilities, you can use them to bypass the laser patterns entirely.
Return to Glitch and Complete the Mission
After successfully turning off all three power relays, return to Glitch outside the house. He will join your crew, completing the mission.
