After the cinematic scene, you'll find yourself near Zadra's body. Simply interact with the ECHO log device on the ground near her to begin your mission.

Tip: Make sure to listen to the full ECHO log as it contains important story context and potential clues for upcoming missions.

Follow the waypoint marker toward the Ascension Tower area. You'll need to navigate through the Carcadia District streets to reach the Data Dump cafe.

While you can technically ignore enemies along the path, consider defeating them for potential XP and loot, especially if you're slightly underleveled.

Strategy: Use elevated pathways whenever possible to avoid unnecessary combat and reach your destination faster.

Inside the Data Dump cafe, locate the computer terminal. You'll need to interact with it twice: first to access the system, then to initiate the data download.

Note: The password is automatically entered as part of the story progression, so you don't need to find it separately.

Follow your waypoint to an enemy camp marked with "Keep Out" signs. This Ripper encampment is heavily guarded, so prepare for combat.

Combat Tip: Use elemental weapons effective against armored enemies, as Rippers typically have heavy armor protection.

Eliminate enemies until a drone becomes available for interaction. Uploading the command script initiates a defense sequence where you must protect the area for approximately one minute.

During the upload, multiple enemy waves will attack. Consider using area-of-effect weapons or abilities to manage groups efficiently.

Strategy: Find elevated defensive positions that offer cover while allowing you to monitor approaching enemies.

After completing the upload, proceed through the newly opened gate. Press the button in the center of the next room to open another gate, then follow the path until you reach a building requiring you to pull yourself up to progress.

Soon after, you'll reach the base of the Ascension Tower. You can take either the left or right path—both routes are equally viable and present similar challenges.

At the top of the tower, you'll find a sealed door. To the right, you'll find a special device. Pick it up and throw it at the archway opposite the door to activate the opening mechanism.

Once the door opens, simply enter the Ascension Chamber to complete the mission and trigger the next story sequence.

Completion Reward: You'll receive XP, currency, and a rare shotgun that's particularly effective against mechanical enemies.
