Borderlands 4: Heart of the Mountain Collectibles Guide
Find all hidden treasures in the mountainous region of Pandora
While there aren't many Borderlands 4 collectibles in the Heart of the Mountain region, some of them are still quite difficult to find. We've put together this guide to help you track down those hidden ECHO Logs that you may be missing. Alongside a Vault Symbol that's easy to miss as well.

ECHO Log Locations in Heart of the Mountain
Phone Home ECHO Log
The Phone Home ECHO Log is inside the remnants of the Sanctuary 3 base, inside the Heart of the Mountain region. You'll find the ship slightly southeast of the center of the region. The ECHO Log itself is up the ramp leading inside, to the left or northwest leading downstairs, and then another right.
Upon reaching the bottom of the steps, you'll come across a small room with the ECHO Log on a crate in the southeast corner.
Pet Sitter ECHO Log
The Pet Sitter ECHO Log is slightly northeast of the center of the Heart of the Mountain region. This puts it north of the Sanctuary 3 ship. When you're above the northwest waterfall, facing southeast toward Sanctuary 3, turn to your left or northeast.
This leads toward a hanging banner with a small hole in the wall that you can crawl through. Follow the linear path up a couple of metal climbable walls until you reach a crumbling Moxxi bar. You'll find the ECHO Log behind the bar to the southwest on a shelf. It's near the neon light of purple lips.
The Path Forward ECHO Log
The Path Forward ECHO Log is tied to a side mission you'll have to do to get this one. This is the side mission, It's a Whole Phase Situation, which is in the region, The Low Leys. The starting location is south of the point of interest, The Pit, and west of The Thirst Scrap.
Following this side mission will lead you to a couple of areas before sending you to a cave inside the Heart of the Mountain region. You'll also come across a couple of ECHO Logs that don't count toward the collectibles for this region. These are The Lost Miner and The Wait.
Once you get to the cave, follow the side quest until you reach the objective, "Reach heart of cave". This will appear a little after Mori disappears into a rift again. Continue down the sloped floor, sliding to a checkpoint. Then, wrap around the wall to the south, on the right side, to find a grappling hook point.
This will help you reach a little area where The Path Forward ECHO Log is. It's up against a crate, lying on the floor.
Vault Symbol Location in Heart of the Mountain
Vault Symbol 1
This Vault Symbol is slightly northeast of the center of the Heart of the Mountain region. This puts it north of the Sanctuary 3 ship. When you're above the northwest waterfall, facing southeast toward Sanctuary 3, turn to your left or northeast.
This leads toward a hanging banner with a small hole in the wall that you can crawl through. Follow the linear path up a couple of metal climbable walls until you reach a crumbling Moxxi bar.
Look toward the northwest, where a blue garbage dumpster is near the mountain. The Vault Symbol is hidden on a metal plate behind this dumpster. Interacting with it will give you 5 SDU for upgrading your storage.
Marcus Bobblehead Locations in Heart of the Mountain
Marcus Bobblehead 1
This Marcus Bobblehead is slightly southeast of the center of the Heart of the Mountain region. It's inside the remnants of the Sanctuary 3 base. Northwest of the ship door leads to the front of the ship, where you'll find the Marcus Bobblehead above a couple of computers.
