Borderlands 4 Crack This Guy's Back Starting Location
This mission starts in the southern area of Stoneblood Forest region. It gets marked on your map when you unfog this area of the map.
Borderlands 4 Crack This Guy's Back Objectives Guide
1. Pop Back McCracky's Back
Approach McCracky and use your melee attack to crack his back for the first time.
2. Take Your Leave
Head out of the house as if you were leaving. Walk toward the door and exit the building.
3. Set the Mood (0/2)
Head back inside and you'll be told you need to find a battery for the lotion thrower. Setting the mood will involve lotioning McCracky up and lighting the candles, which you automatically complete by doing the next objectives.
4. Power Lotion Thrower
Head to the northwest corner of the house outside and drop down to the area below. You'll see a fridge and grill loot stashes, but in a pile of rubble near it you'll find two batteries.
Pick one up and bring it back to the lotion thrower and deposit it.
5. Lotion McCracky Up
Once deposited, head over to the control panel and use it to power up the lotion thrower and cover McCracky in lotion.
6. Light Candles
All around the room you'll see 4 sets of candles, outlined in orange. Simply shoot or melee each of them to light them.
7. Pop McCracky's Back Again
Melee McCracky again now that the mood is properly set.
8. Celebrate a Job Well Done
Head out and start walking away from McCracky's house as if you've completed the mission.
9. Pop McCracky's Back AGAIN
Head back inside and melee McCracky yet again. He's still not satisfied!
10. Reach High Ground
Head out and down the path looking to the cliffs to the right. Where you see a gust of wind coming from the ground there will be a grapple point - use it to ascend to the cliffs. Make your way to the mission marker.
11. REALLY Pop McCracky's Back
Jump down through the hole in the roof of McCracky's house and slam down on McCracky with a ground pound attack for the final, satisfying back crack.
Completing Crack This Guy's Back in Borderlands 4
This finishes the "Crack This Guy's Back" side mission in Borderlands 4. You'll receive your XP and cash rewards, and can continue with other missions in the Stoneblood Forest area.
