How to Start Broken Ships Mission in Borderlands 4
To begin the Broken Ships side quest, head to Moxxi's Bottoms Up! in the Ruined Sumplands area of Carcadia Burn. You'll find Zane standing in the back room of the bar, looking rather dejected about his relationship troubles.
Find Drone Part for Zane in Borderlands 4
Zane wants to give Levaine a gift, and he thinks a drone will win her heart. He sends you to fetch the drone parts from a ripper camp to the north.
There will be 3 marked search spots in the camp. The correct spot is on top of the tower building. From the central courtyard where the first quest marker is, use the grappling point on the corner of the tower and then go up the stairs.
When you reach a broken path you must glide around the tower to get across, then use grappling points again and do more gliding. Melee the petrified enemy so it drops the drone part.
Return Drone Part to Zane
Fast travel back to Zane at Moxxi's bar and hand him the part. Levaine will give you a call after, setting up the next phase of this romantic adventure.
Clear Out Rendezvous Site in Sumplands
Head to the marked waypoint in the north of the Sumplands. You'll need to defeat all enemies in this area to create a safe space for Zane and Levaine's meeting.
The enemies here are primarily rippers, so come prepared with corrosive weapons for armor and shock weapons for shields.
Leave Before It Gets Gross
After clearing the area, simply head out of the camp to give these two lovebirds some privacy. No one wants to witness what might happen next!
Find Gift for Zane from Levaine
Levaine got wind of Zane having prepared a gift for her. She doesn't want to come empty-handed, so she calls you to get a last-minute gift.
Go to the waypoint slightly east of the previous location. The gift is a unique pistol hanging off the side of a house. You'll need to platform carefully to reach it.
Clear Out Rendezvous Site Again
The two lovebirds got themselves ambushed by rippers. Go back to the previous area and kill another wave of enemies. This time, the enemies will be slightly higher level and more numerous.
Save Zane and Levaine from Ambush
Zane and Levaine are trapped up in the tower. Walk up the rocks/stairs to the big crane. Then walk over the crane to get over to them.
Levaine and Zane are arguing but eventually make up. The mission ends here after their heartwarming talk, rewarding you with XP, money, and eridium.
